Happy Birthday Abigail!

This weekend is the first weekend of Lent. It felt good to go to church with loved ones. Today, I went to 9:30am mass at Divine Child I met Aunt Sheila, Nana and Emily up there. Father Jim gave a touching homily regarding the gospel this week. He mentioned that evil is still present and it is doing a great job at making us Christians spiritually lazy. Like anything worthwile, it takes a great deal of effort, discipline, trust and hope in what we cannot always see; in other words, it takes faith. Faith is what we as an army family need to have daily. We need to believe and trust in the Lord's way.

Today, a special young lady, Abigail turns 13!!! My army soldier and I want to wish her a Happy HAPPY Birthday! We cannot wait to see you in May!!
