What to send my soldier overseas?

I have a couple of fantastic ideas of the perfect treats for our guys overseas.

Number 1. Dearborn Brand Sausage Mini Sticks - These little bags are perfect for the field and will fit in a number of pockets on the ACU's. When I send them to APO addresses I always write "mini sticks." If someone asks they are beef products.

Number 2. Personalized Postcard - Users can send FREE, personalized, REAL paper postcards to family, friends and colleagues who are in the military. Military Kids colaborating with "shoot it"and; http://www.operationpostcards.com/welcome2.aspx to send a postcard.

Here's how easy it is to send a postcard.

- Users must register with Operation Postcards
- Service member stationed with an APO/FPO (Army Post Office/Fleet Post
Office)
- Users upload their own photo to use on a postcard, or users can select a photo from one of our
stock images
- Add their friends, family members or colleagues (soldiers) as Postcard Recipients
- Type a personal Message
- Send

That's it! And, their personal postcards will be printed and mailed the next business day! All for FREE!

Number 3 - Lots of X's and O's

  1. What a great idea about the postcards! I wish I had known about that while my husband was still deployed.

Thanks for the comment on my blog about the mil spouse blog hop. Unfortunately, I can't add any names to the list after it closed. But if you visit other people on the list, make sure you leave them a comment telling them you found them on my blog hop. They should follow you back. Good luck!
