Today or Tomorrow?

Do you ever feel like you are on a ride that won't stop? You want to get out, stretch your legs, go to the bathroom, and maybe get a snack, but the driver keeps trucking along. Sometimes we need to take a breath in this life. I know I need to. Make sure you let the driver stop once in awhile... especially if you are the driver. We are always in a rush to get to the next stop. "As soon as I pack and the movers come, then I can relax." or "As soon as I unpack and get things the way I want them to be, then I will be happy." We have to remember that life is a ride we want to enjoy. We can't always look towards the future or else we are not going to enjoy what's happening in front of us. However, this countdown of ours, is winding down, and we only have a couple little things to complete before we are back in each other's arms. He is busy the next couple weeks with his Ranger Packing List, cleaning up his hell-hole of a room and getting the heck out of there. He is pretty pumped about it (going home, not the cleaning). I am a little concerned with how well he will get that room cleaned. He told me he might have to get a wax machine. I am busy with the movers here and finishing my last week of work. I am also trying to register for a couple of classes this fall for my masters in teaching and a YMCA type Photography class. Fun Fun FUn! SO Enjoy your day today and all the days ahead.

  1. Hello darling! I just came across your blog. As a fellow military wife, I completely understand your feelings! I just told my hubs the same thing. I am SOOOOO tired of ALWAYS being on the go. Our life is always in constant motion, and I just want to STOP and start enjoying it. I feel like all the littel moments we are suppose to be enjoying, are flying by us without being able to apprecaite them. If only we could pause time......

  2. Goodnight Moon,
You have no idea how much you made my day today! Thank you very much for your post. Sometimes I wish the pause button worked. My wonderful husband reminds me to stay grounded, otherwise life would be only the ride and not what is happening in between it all. I see people react to things in a way that causes them stress and shakes. I do not want to be that way. Pause button or not, all of us military wives need to take a breath! Thank you for reading. I enjoy your blog as well....
